When You Wish Upon a Star

     So tonight I went for a cruise. Sometimes I like to just get in my car and roll out. I turn the music up and try to clear my head or whatever...and Lord knows I need it! At any rate, I'm cruisin up 94 and I look up and see a shooting star. DAMN, I haven't seen a shooting star in a looooong time. I think the last time I did was campin out in my boy Hickstein's backyard. Shit, that was probably like 15 years ago.
     Of course, "When you wish upon a star..." popped in my head and I made my lil wish. Let's face it, a shooting star is WAYYYYY more serious then wishin at 11:11. You get 2 shots at that shit a day. If you time it right, you can probably GET 2 a day. If it happens to be your birthday that day...That's 3 damn wishes!!! It made me think though...If you are truly passionate about your wish, somehow they do come true. I'm not talking about, "I wish I had a million dollars!", I'm talking about something you wish for that you're truly passionate about. What makes you truly passionate about something anyway? To me if you're truly passionate about something, you go to bed thinking about it AND wake up thinking about it too! If that's the case, I believe that either consciously or sub-consciously you work toward that goal and you WILL ultimately get there!
     I started writing this yesterday just shortly after making my wish and didn't have a chance to finish writing it until now. However, I am so glad that it worked out the way it did because I had the opportunity to read something posted on Facebook by my uncle Danny. It said, "It's always darkest just before dawn. Don't give up before the miracle happens!" So I commented on his post, "I love that!!!", and I DO!
     Sometimes in life you get discouraged; think you can't achieve something, or think your dream could never be a reality...BUT IT CAN!! What is it that you go to sleep thinking about? What is it that you wake up thinking about? Be passionate about what it is you wish for! DON'T give up before the miracle happens!!!! Thanks Uncle Danny, Love You! I'm out, your boy JC!
